A Telugu wedding unfolds over one to three days, across homes, halls and sometimes temples. The pictures families treasure most are often from the quieter hours — the mother tying the bride’s jasmine, the uncles lifting the basket, the grandfather’s blessing.
So we plan photography for the whole sequence: which rituals happen where, who needs to be photographed with whom, and when there will be a few calm minutes for portraits. On the day, we follow that plan closely and stay alert for everything it couldn’t predict.

How we handle the tricky parts
Early and late muhurthams
We work back from your muhurtham time: when the team leaves, where they set up, and how long each side needs before the ceremony. Low mandap light is planned for, not discovered at 4 am.
Crowded mandaps
At the key moments — Jeelakarra Bellam, Mangalya Dharanam, Talambralu — relatives naturally crowd in. We agree positions with the priest and family in advance so faces are visible and the ritual isn’t disturbed.
Two families, two venues
When the bride and groom get ready in different places, we plan coverage for both sides so neither family’s morning is missed.
Heat and light
Andhra summers are bright and hot. We schedule portraits for softer light where possible and keep portrait sessions short so the couple stays comfortable and fresh.

Questions about wedding-day coverage
How many photographers will cover our wedding?
It depends on your guest count, the number of events and whether the bride’s and groom’s sides get ready in different places. For a single-venue wedding a small team is often enough; larger weddings with simultaneous events need more people. We recommend a team size after understanding your plans and explain why.
Do you cover the rituals at home before the wedding?
Yes. Pellikuturu, Pellikoduku, Snathakam and other home rituals are often the most personal photographs of the whole wedding, and they’re usually held in homes or small halls with lovely natural light. Tell us the timings and addresses and we’ll plan them in.
Our muhurtham is very early in the morning. Is that a problem?
Not at all — early and late-night muhurthams are common in Telugu weddings. We plan travel, arrival and lighting around your exact muhurtham time and agree the schedule with you beforehand.
Can you photograph a temple wedding?
Yes, within each temple’s rules. Some temples restrict photography in certain areas or limit equipment such as lights and tripods. We check the rules with you in advance so there are no surprises on the day.
Do you photograph weddings outside Guntur, such as in Vijayawada or Tenali?
Yes. Many of our weddings are in Vijayawada, Amaravati, Tenali, Mangalagiri and other towns in Andhra Pradesh. For venues further from Guntur we plan the team’s travel, and stay if events run late, and show any such costs clearly in the quote.
How will we receive our photographs?
You receive professionally edited photographs as high-resolution digital files, and printed albums if you choose them. Delivery format and timelines are written into your quote so you know exactly what to expect.
