Privacy policy

This policy explains how Sagar Studio (“we”) handles information you share through this website. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we collect

When you send the enquiry form, we receive the details you type in — your name, phone number, optional e-mail address, event type, date, location and message — together with basic information about how you found the website (for example, the page you first landed on or a campaign tag in the link). We use this only to reply to your enquiry and to understand which of our pages and channels are useful.

If you contact us by phone or WhatsApp, we receive whatever you choose to share there.

How we store it

Form enquiries are delivered to the studio by e-mail. The website itself does not keep a database of enquiries. Anti-spam protection stores a one-way, unreadable fingerprint of your internet address for a few hours to limit repeated automated submissions, after which it is deleted.

Cookies and analytics

Your browser may remember, for up to 90 days, which page you first visited and any campaign tags in the link, so that this can be included with an enquiry you choose to send; it never leaves your device unless you submit the form.

At present this website does not use third-party analytics or advertising services and does not set advertising cookies. If we advertise online and turn on measurement from Google Ads or the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), those services will set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser to count visits and tell us when an advertisement led to an enquiry; this policy will then name them.

Videos

Our films are hosted on YouTube. On the Films page and elsewhere on this site, the preview pictures are loaded from YouTube’s image servers, which receive your internet address in the same way as any website you visit; no YouTube player or cookie is loaded at that point. When you press play, the film is loaded from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and from then on YouTube, run by Google under its own privacy policy, may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and record that you watched the video. If you turn on “Play next automatically”, your browser remembers that choice on your device, and YouTube’s player script is loaded so that we know when a film has finished.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your details with anyone for marketing. Your information is used by the studio only to respond to you and, if you book, to deliver our services.

Photographs

Photographs of weddings appear on this website only with the permission of the families concerned. If you appear in a photograph and would like it removed, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.
