Amaravati is one of Andhra Pradesh’s oldest temple towns, on the banks of the Krishna, and the name now also covers the wider capital region between Guntur and Vijayawada. Weddings here range from intimate temple ceremonies to large celebrations at newer venues.
Each asks for a different approach — and both are close enough to our Guntur studio to plan simply.

Temple ceremonies
Temple weddings are often early in the morning, with limited space and specific rules. We confirm what’s permitted beforehand, travel light, and agree with the family where we may stand for the key rituals.
Mangalagiri
Mangalagiri, on the Guntur–Vijayawada corridor, is known for the Panakala Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple on the hill and for its handwoven cotton — which photographs beautifully in natural light. It’s one of the easiest trips from our studio.
Riverside light
Open stretches along the Krishna offer wide skies at sunrise and sunset — ideal for pre-wedding portraits in traditional outfits.
Newer venues
For newer halls and resorts in the region, we check lighting, power backup and getting-ready spaces ahead of time, and visit where practical.

Yes, within each temple’s rules. Temple weddings are often early, compact and crowded, and some temples limit photography or equipment in certain areas. We check the rules with you in advance and plan positions accordingly.
Is Amaravati a good place for a pre-wedding shoot?
It can be lovely — temple-town streets, stone architecture and open stretches along the Krishna. Heritage and protected sites have their own entry and photography rules, which can change, so we confirm current requirements while planning your pre-wedding shoot.
How far is Amaravati from your studio?
Amaravati is roughly 35 km from our studio in Guntur, and Mangalagiri roughly 20 km, so both are within easy reach for full-day wedding coverage.
